Seventeen years ago, Alan Fung, a Master Chef from Hong Kong emigrated to Northern Ireland with a dream.
He had a vision to share his experience, expertise and knowledge of preparing Asian food.His Ballymena restaurant gave him the opportunity to share his talent and passion for cooking first class Chinese dishes.
This early success led Alan to moving to Belfast and working with Red Panda.
He then went to be Executive Chef for his family business, Zen Japanese (Belfast) and the GAZE group that had customers returning again and again to enjoy the mouth watering menus available at these restaurants.
Alan and his family had lived in the Newtownabbey area for three years.
They are very excited to bring his passion and exciting approach to Chinese food and dishes.
